Dive Komodo National Park - Komodo Island, Indonesia
Nestled between eastern Sumbawa and western Flores lies three tiny grass-covered islands Komodo, Padar and Rinca, which is famous as a Komodo National Park, a protected wildlife reserve. Home of the giants lizard known as the "Komodo Dragon" it was thought to be a myth until the turn of the century, when fishermen who were forced by a storm to take shelter on Komodo sight the monsters.

Water temperature :
20 - 28 Degrees Celcius (68-85 °F) , cooler water is experienced on the southern sites.
Visibility :
10 - 50M year round. Traditionally clearer water on northern sites.
Current :
Komodo experiences a strong tidal flow. Not all sites are affected by current. Drift diving is excellent, however during spring tides some sites are impossible to dive. Particular attention is placed on diving the correct sites at the most suitable time to ensure optimum conditions, in accordance with the preferences of the group.
How to get there
While most visitors enter Komodo National Park (KNP) through the gateway cities of Labuan Bajo in the west of Flores or Bima in eastern Sumbawa, the departure point for your trip is actually Denpasar, Bali.

Day 01: Bali - Labuan Bajo - Sabolon
- Breakfast at hotel.
- Get the morning flight from Bali to LabuanBajo.
- On arrival our staff will meet you and drive you to the harbor and boarding to the boat.
- Short introduction to the facilities of the boat, the diving operation and the tour program while heading to our first stop and diving around Sabolan Island.
- Lunch willbe served on boat. Hard coral cover here is minimal, there are lots of soft corals and some large gorgonias. The reason to dive here is the fish life, you can watch white-tips, silver-tips and black-tips.
- Overnight on boat.
Day 02: Sebayur Island
- Early morning passage to Sebayur Island.
- Diving around Sebayur Kecil - wall covered with corals and sponges, sandy bottom at around 25-30 meters. Fish life - Napoleon Wrasse, reef fishes, butterfly fish, groupers and lots more.
- Sebayur Besar /Barusa Saha - bottom sand and coral, you can spot more rays here than anywhere else.
- Overnight on boat.
Day 03: Tatawa Island
- Early morning passage to Tatawa Island.
- Diving around Tatawa and Crystal Rock .
- Drops to 30 meters , nice coral caves. Lots of fish - black snappers, butterflyfish, large cuttlefish , sharks, turtles and large reef rays.
- Overnight on boat.
Day 04: Komodo National Park
- Early morning we start our 2hours " Dragon Walk " to see the famous Komodo Lizard.
- Dive the Pantai Merah - Pink beach. Gorgonian fans and sponges, thousands of fish of every colour.
- Afternoon diving around Batubolong and Takat Makassar.
- Overnight on boat.
Day 05 : Padar Island
- Morning sailing to Padar and diving around Padar Island.
- Padar Kecil / Pillar Rock - caves, channels and canyons, variety of soft corals and gorgonias , plenty of fish , sweetlips, surgeonfish as well as sharks.
- Overnight on boat.
Day 06: Pengah / Rinca Island
- Early morning passage to Pengah island. Morning dives around Pengah.
- Afternoon passage to Rinca Island for " trekking with the dragons ".
- Lunch will be served in one of the islands.
- Afternoon transfer to Labuhanbajo, upon arrival in Labuhanbajo direct transfer to hotel.
- Dinner and overnight.
Day 07: Labuanbajo - Bali
- Breakfast at the hotel.
- Morning city tour to visit The Mirror Stone Cave (Batu Cermin ), then transfer to the airport for your flight return to Bali.
- Upon arrival in Bali, meet with our staff then transfer to hotel.
